Registered Dietitian Nutritionist · Nutrition Scientist · Nearly 20 Years in Public Health & Aging

I'm a registered dietitian nutritionist. For nearly 20 years, I’ve worked in public health and aging, helping people meet foundational health needs and stay well as they age. My philosophy is simple, and it hasn't changed: food first.

I hold supplements to a high standard. I won't put my name next to something I haven't vetted myself, and very few products clear that bar. ResilienZ-12 is one of them.

"Food first. Always. So when I put my name next to a supplement, that really means something."

Food First, and Food for the Whole Person

I believe food is medicine in the most literal, biochemical sense. But it doesn't just feed the physical body. It feeds the soul.

My approach starts with dignity and respect: all foods fit, zero perfection, zero restriction. The question I ask isn't what to cut out. It's what we can add.

Let's be honest: a food-first life is the ideal, but real life makes it hard to hit every nutritional target every day. None of us eat perfectly, and we shouldn't have to.

That's why I've always seen a thoughtful, well-researched supplement as a reasonable tool. Not a replacement for food, but a complement to it.

What Made ResilienZ-12 Worth My Name

My foundation is evidence-based public health, and as a credentialed nutrition professional, biochemistry is at the core of how food and nutrition interact within the human body.

Early in my career, I worked in a food science lab alongside a nutrition biochemist who was an expert in functional foods and nutraceuticals, back when the research was promising but young. A phenomenal professor showed me how these compounds function at the cellular level, and that understanding stayed with me throughout my career.

When ResilienZ-12 came across my desk, I did what I always do: I went straight to the literature.

I was struck by how much the peer-reviewed science had matured on efficacy, safety, and precise dosing. They weren't one-off, isolated studies anymore. There was a robust body of systematic reviews and meta-analyses, the kind of evidence that cuts through a single lucky headline and shows how a compound truly performs.

My bar is high: a supplement has to be effective, safe, and dosed correctly. ResilienZ-12 cleared all three, which is why I now advise on its formulation science, applying the same rigor and continuous quality review I've used my whole career.

Supporting the body’s natural capacity for resilience as we age has been my life’s work. This stack fits that mission perfectly.

Off the Clock

My kids come first, always. After that, you'll find me bringing people together over a potluck and a good conversation. Community feeds the soul as much as food feeds the body. A few things that are true about me:

Go-to snack:

Salted roasted pecans with Pink Lady apple slices.

My non-negotiable:

I make an appointment with myself to move my body on the same days every week.

How I move:

Early-morning trail runs, resistance training in the garage, and a confession: I used to teach spin classes.

What grounds me:

Breathwork. I live with anxiety, and learning to use intentional breathwork has become one of my go-to strategies.
